Updated my blog's theme
I never changed the default theme before; I liked it simple. However, I had to make the 'home' and 'about' pages different, just to add my personal touch. There are tons of lovely themes out there, like the Bear Pride Theme by Robert Birming... I absolute adore it! But I felt like I wanted to do one that reflects the essence of my blog. I had already been experimenting on neocities, in the attempt to learn coding. But it was too much to keep up with both blogs and left that project mostly as an archive/reminder of all my tests.
So, I worked out some of my ideas for my bearblog and it's finally "online". Despite being an absolute newbie, I decided to do my best. I am still learning. For example, before reading How to make your blog more accessible, and why you should care, or Blogging in the dark, I had no idea about any of these things. I'm grateful people take time to explain, so I can grow in my blogging skills!
For now I'm okay with how the theme looks like. Not sure if there is something to improve about it. We shall see!
I kept the animated effect in my homepage, since it just feels like the perfect graphic representation of what my blog is about; I grew too fond of it.
