Resisting thought patterns
You know that feeling when some thoughts pass through your mind like uninvited strangers? Of course you know these thoughts, because you try to run away from them, you consider them "bad", you judge yourself for having them and you end up resisting them. You're trying to get rid of them as soon as possible. So you try to be calm about it, you try to rise above them and to treat them like passing clouds that have nothing to do with you. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't really do anything. Let's stop the belief that these thoughts came to haunt you for a moment. Ask them questions and keep asking with curiosity, calmly...until the right questions pop out....what do they want, what are they showing you, ask to trace their origin back to the root in your consciousness and see where that takes you - what truth are they bringing forth? That raises your awareness. And self-awareness gives you wings to expand your perspective. Now you're not pretending anymore to let go of them, you're allowing yourself to see why they keep appearing. This shows you that even avoidance can look like a solution when you're not conscious... you're resisting something within yourself and therefore subconsciously impressing it deeper. I know how important it can be to shift your focus from spiraling even further but if you really decide to look within yourself with full acceptance, no matter what you'll find, there's nothing to be afraid of. Many times it can only reveal ways in which you weren't being loving towards your own self. The direct consequence is disconnection from yourself. Fill your cup again, fill your heart. You have the power to do so. Peace and Blessings ✨️
