A Ray from the Inner Realm

Emotions & Warriors of Love

I think one of the most human things we do, when we experience pain during conflict, is wishing that people would undo the harm they caused us—the wrongdoings. There will be people who are ready to listen, but there will also be people who are ready to argue or dismiss you. On those days, remember to look for peace in the only place it truly belongs: within yourself.

When you can’t find peace outside, put down the defensiveness of the mind. Let go of the need to explain yourself or the desire to be heard. You don’t need others to recognize your pain if you don’t abandon yourself in it. Look carefully, listen attentively to what your pain is telling you, because you will recognize the truth beyond it. And if you need strength, pray. God knows you. Pray to re-establish that inner contact.

Keep leaning into the painful feeling—that wound calling to be heard. Face it with determination, knowing this is not the end. Pushing it away will only postpone healing. These days are reminders to love yourself more deeply than you thought you could, and to love others in the very way they refused to love you. Why? Because only love can heal the world—and love has already won.

Choosing to be a warrior of love means fighting for what's true in your heart, not in the sense that you attack or defend yourself. It means taking that courageous, caring step before anyone else. When everyone else is blinded by emotional, unhealed wounds, you are able to see. You leave behind every reason to quarrel, drop the weapon, stop arguing, and walk into the fire—trusting you won’t be burned. Feeding pain with more negativity will not save you.

Don’t fall into the mind’s trap of needing to be seen a certain way. Don’t trade your inner peace for external approval. As humans, we often forget the peace within ourselves, and from that forgetfulness we bring inner wars into the outer world. But when you see it, that awareness is a gift from God to warriors of love. Giving others what they cannot give you is a gift too, and that gift is priceless—just as you are: a priceless gift from God to the world.
