Do flowers strain themselves to bloom?
Do flowers strain themselves to bloom?
Do they ever feel their petals being thorn apart by the wrenching slap of the wind?
Do they tickle when bees sit on their nectar with their little limbs?
Do their roots feel tingly when the water spreads in the soil?
Does the presence of the sun or the moon open them as if they were awakening from a dream?
I ponder this while I sit at my desk. I long to write and to share everything with the world. The Internet is a great opportunity and yet, it's as tight as a jacket you used to wear in your teenage years. It should be easy. Maybe flowers don't think about blooming, they just do it. Maybe it was never about sharing it with the world. Maybe it was just about showing up with what I have within and find joy in the act of doing it. I pray for a breakthrough, where I finally bloom all the seeds that have been collecting in the garden of my heart. I pray to the Most High, to be able to deliver the Eternal Love that has been woven in my soul.
